Mireal Child Safety Standards

Effective date: 10 October 2026

App: Mireal (Android & iOS)

1. Who we are

Operator: Digivation OÜ

Address: Sakala tn 7-2, 10141 Tallinn, Estonia

Business ID: 16309627

Child safety contact: info@mireal.app

These standards describe how Mireal works to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAM) and related harm, and how users and authorities can reach us.

2. Age requirement

Mireal is for adults 18 and over only. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the service. Date of birth is collected at registration to enforce this rule.

If you believe a minor is using Mireal, report it immediately (see section 6).

3. Zero tolerance

We prohibit:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
  • Sexualization of minors, grooming, or conduct that targets minors
  • Using Mireal to facilitate abuse, exploitation, or harm to children
  • Profiles, photos, or behavior that suggest a user is under 18 or that endanger children

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently delete accounts that violate these rules.

4. How we respond

When we receive a credible child safety report or detect a serious violation:

  1. We prioritize review and may suspend the reported account pending investigation.
  2. We preserve information only as long as needed for safety, legal compliance, and cooperation with authorities.
  3. We remove CSAM and related abusive material from our systems when we become aware of it.
  4. We report to appropriate regional or national authorities when required by law or when we believe a child is at risk or a crime has occurred (including under applicable EU and Estonian law).

We do not use CSAM for any purpose other than prevention, investigation, and legally required reporting.

5. Prevention and design

Mireal is proximity-based social discovery, not open public messaging or unmoderated user-generated feeds. Users choose when to be Visible; others see limited profile information designed for in-person context, not live map tracking of individuals.

We combine age gating, account controls, technical measures, and human review of reports to reduce abuse risk. We may update features and policies as laws and platform requirements evolve.

6. Reporting from the app

You can report child safety concerns through the app:

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Open Help & support.
  3. Use the Child safety section and email info@mireal.app with the subject line Child safety report.

Include whatever you safely can: the other user’s display name, what happened, when and where (if relevant), and whether you believe someone is under 18 or in immediate danger. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

We read every child safety report and aim to respond as quickly as practicable.

7. Reporting outside the app

You may also email info@mireal.app directly from any address.

For urgent matters involving imminent harm to a child, contact your local emergency number in addition to writing to us.

8. Contact for platform and compliance inquiries
